About Me
I’ve been writing and editing for most of my life. I was that kid whose dream job was to get paid to read books. Actually, that still is my dream job. But first I was a journalist, then gained experience in corporate and nonprofit marketing. I spent a few years in politics, started a nonprofit, and then became a freelance editor. I completed the Professional Sequence in Editing from UC Berkeley and am a graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course, Oxford.
As an editor, I’m an omnivore. I will read almost any form of fiction — I’m particularly fond of YA, sci fi/fantasy, romance, mysteries, and thrillers — and certain types of nonfiction too: memoirs, politics, history, and leadership. I bring my expertise and my skills to your manuscript to help you make it the best it can be. All of my editing is done by me; I don’t use any AI or editing software.
No matter what level of editing you need, I will work with you to polish your manuscript and help your story and your voice shine through.
